OK guys, I'm going to open this thread so we can discuss and share what we found most memorable from the LAMECO Tribute (April 7/8th, 2007). There is so much to share, so I'm not really sure where to begin. Hmmm....
As I said, there's so much to begin with, so I'll start it off with some of the counters that Felix V. shared regarding a knife to the throat.
- The feeder starts off with the knife to your throat using his right hand, the point of the knife toward the closed side of his body.
- Raise your hands up on either side of the knife, crossing over this wrist with both of your wrists.
- Drop both of your wrists downward on his wrist, collapsing the his wrist against your chest.
- In this case, his knife is pointed to your right; while keeping pressure on his wrist, turn your body in the direction the knife is pointed.
Note: Do this very slowly at first, it's a real eye opener on the feeders end how quickly this sets.
Essentially, the same technique can be down when the knife is placed on the opposite side of your neck. Except you still turn in the direction that the knife is facing.
Give it a go and let me know what you think. There's so much more to share, so this is just but one little morsel to begin with.
